These are off-site or factory constructed steel framed building modules built to form one or more building(s) to customer specific requirements. They will comply with applicable Building Regulations and are able to account for the latest “carbon footprint” requirements. The major benefits to the client are speed and cost savings over “conventional” buildings. Externally the options are many ranging from economical texture paint, low maintenance Plastisol coated steel up to a full brick wall finish. The roof can be either a low pitch standard roof or a more conventional pitch tiled roof. Internally the layout and finishes can be as specific as the client requires with available ceiling heights from 2.4m to 3m+. The additional ceiling height does allow for the provision of a suspended ceiling. It is possible to conceal services in the void above the suspended ceiling. Low cost foundations are normally isolated concrete cubes or strip pads depending upon prevailing ground conditions. The building can be up to four storeys high to maximise the available building area.
